Hi People, My company uses Microsoft office 2003. I have this problem where one user recieves an error when he open MS Word. THe error states that he needs to run PRO11.MSI. However this only happens when he is off the network. And even then if you choose cancel, word works fine, the only think you cannot do is select HELP on the toolbar. When he is on the network WORD can see the SMS server (original location of PRO11.MSI) and all is well.

What i dont understand is why it continually needs to look for PRO11.MSI. At the moment the only way he can open word without getting this error is when I create a shortcut to winword.exe with the switch /a. I tried to m ake all word documents use this switch by modifying how word opens in file types, but the same switch doesnt prevent the error. I have also deleted and recreated normal.dot, and am very confused. The obvious solution is try a reinstall, but a second person has complained of the same problem.
