On my CLP 315 I removed the 12 or so pins in the door, it was easy to do, so WHEN I do the hack I do not need the tape to insulate them, mentioned in the third photo link. My printer works fine without these pins. All those pictures were worth waitng for. For those using the links above you have to delete a number of spaces in the web address. Thanks very much David.
